About us

7Waves is an independent Norwegian engineering company, specializing in naval architecture and marine engineering. The firm was established in 2012 in Son, and in 2021 the Oslo branch-office opened in Bjørvika, Oslo. The company’s past and ongoing involvements include work with traditional marine structures such as FPSOs and semi-submersibles, as well as newer structural concepts related to offshore fish farming and offshore wind energy.

Characteristic to the tightly knit collective that constitutes 7Waves is its proficient use of the DNV software package Sesam. Combined with comprehensive experience, this enables the 7Waves team to solve the most challenging structural problems at sea with flexibility and efficiency.
